| In response to recent requirements for an agency self-assessment plan, the newly appointed Quality Assurance Liaison Committee will work in collaboration with Internal Quality Review Teams which have been formed in each of DCIs four counties. Each team will include a direct support staff person, job coach, and an individual receiving services. The county director and executive director will serve as ad hoc members | The Quality Assurance Liaison Committee will meet with the teams to discuss and develop ways to conduct in-depth "self-surveys" of DCI records and practices. Many stakeholders will be asked to take part in surveys as well, so you may be contacted by someone from the Internal Quality Review Team! The Internal Review team will also be looking at our agencys Vision and Mission statement to see if we are heading the right direction and where we need to focus in the future. The results of the self-assessment process will be addressed in an agency Quality Improvement Plan. | |
