Douglas Cooperative Inc. is a private non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. DCI is licensed through the Tennessee Department of Mental health and Mental Retardation, the Tennessee Department of Health other numerous sources to provide an array of services to disabled adults and children. Services are available in Blount, Cocke, Jefferson, and Sevier Counties with the administrative offices being located in Sevierville. Staff, families, and individuals served work together in a team approach to provide assistance in promoting self esteem, growth and self sufficiency in all areas of the individual's life. The agency provides residential, day, personal assistance and supported employment services for adults and students. Early Intervention is provided for infants and toddlers, birth to three, in Cocke County. Other services provided include transportation, family support, evaluation and assessment, counseling and referral, and advocacy. Company Profile

All DCI facilities are licensed by the Tennessee Division of Mental Retardation (DMR). A  quality enhancement review is conducted annually as well as numerous inspections and reviews by DMR. Annual audits are completed by a private CPA. DCI is certified by the U.S. Department of Labor to employ workers at special minimum wages. DCI is an equal opportunity employer. Referrals are accepted without regard to religion, race, ethnic origin, marital status, or gender. Applications are accepted between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday at any of our county locations.
